Here is a 2nd 1908 Indian Half Eagle on our list.  This one is PCGS MS64+.  PCGS says the "Plus Grades" exhibit exceptional eye appeal for the grade and constitute the top 30% of the coins in the grade.”  This one meets these standards with a booming luster, deep orange-gold color of an original, un-messed with example, and largely nick free surfaces. In fact, I would guess that it was just a small nick away from getting MS65 and still may on the right day in the grading room.  Prices scale wildly up grade, with PCGS retail guide for MS65 at $12,500, and CAC CPG at $14,500.  So a MS 64+ at 32% to 38% of the cost of a MS65?  Value we say, value.
