Here is a 1811/09 Capped Bust Dime in VF30.  It is the JR-1 die marriage, the one and only, and are the same 2 dies used to make the 1809 dimes.  The only difference is that they struck in an '11' over the '09' to change the date and then kept on minting with the same 2 dies.  Not surprisingly, mintages were low at 51,065 and 65,180, respectively.  The last die state of the reverse die for 1811/09 is a shattered die, which explains why the minting of these were likely terminated that year, and apparently they did not have any replacement dies, nor had a need to keep on minting dimes in either case.  Hence, bust dimes were not minted again until 1814.
 
It would also then, not surprise you of the sparse CAC population of 1811/09 dimes.  Across all grades, there are only 41 that meet the expectations of CAC/CACG.  That includes 7 in VF (including this one), 3 in XF, 3 in AU, and 6 in MS.  So there are just not many of these and they don't show up too often.
 
This example is a wholesome shades of grey but with minimal abrasions for the grade.  The are several die cracks, especially on the reverse but not quite showing the final terminal die state, close but not quite.
