Another 1880's CC half eagle in the grade of XF45.  As with all of the 1880's CC half eagles, getting one that is original and worthy of the CAC approval is a major challenge. Rich golden surfaces adorn this lovely example. There is one recent comp. - Heritage sold a PCGS XF 45/CAC for $3720 (not including shipping) at an auction on 11/13/25.  It is a nice coin but on the obverse there are some strange lines/bands in the toning going NW-SE across its surfaces. CAC CPG price for this issue is $4500 as of 11/25.

    For orders from this website, we accept returns for 7 days after receipt of coin by buyer.  Buyer must notify us at desertmoonnm@yahoo.com of return within that 7-day time frame.  Coin must be returned in its original plastic slab.   Buyer pays for return shipping.  Refund will be issued upon receipt of coin in the same condition (including the slab) as it was sent to the buyer.
