1860-O Half Dime, PCGS MS65
$950.00Price
Here is a 1860 New Orleans Liberty Seated Half Dime in MS64. It stood out to us because of the vibrant blue toning with hints of violet and amber on both sides. This kind of toning is characteristic of many examples of this issue, having irregular distribution patterns. This must have something to do with the planchets and maybe even the lack of compositional homogeneity of the metal within them? In either case this is a stunning example with not only the toning, but has flashy luster worthy of the 64 grade and no noticeable hits to speak of. What is not to love?
