This lovely Liberty Seated Half is an 1859 in PCGS MS63.  At CSNS we were able to cherry pick 2 boxes of pq seated halves from a long held collection and this is one of those that we selected.  The images above tell the story of a gorgeous half with original skin and rich mint frost on the devices.  The first 2 sets of images show the coin at slightly different orientations where one can scroll back and forth and see how the luster flashes/rotates.  In the third set of images the coin was angled to obtain uniform lighting across the surfaces.  This set illustrates the amber-champagne surfaces nicely.  Suffice to say this is a flashy, extremely eye appealing example.  
 
There are a total of 54 of these in the CAC/CACG database, with 2 in MS63 and only 9 higher.  No auction records for CACed examples greater than 62 are extant in PCGS Coinfacts.  The closest comp is a PCGS AU58+/CAC that went for $1680 in December of 2022 at Heritage.  Not surprisingly, the prices start to scale up quickly in the MS grades, and cherry picking a choice, uber pq in MS63 thus represents real value.
