This 1856-O Liberty Seated Quarter in PCGS AU58, is like any O-Mint Quarter Dollar, very hard to find with great surfaces.  This example has subtle pastel-aqua-blue to amber along the edges, then transitions into a golden-champagne tone across the rest of the surfaces of each side.  It is very well struck, with maybe a touch of rub on the right leg of Miss Liberty and her hair, some around the eye and on lower feathers on the Eagles neck and left wing, and a hint in other locations on the reverse, relegating it to an AU58 grade.  Everywhere else, the luster strongly flashes through when rotating under the light.  Obtained from a long held collection.  We have not sent this to CAC and do not know if the previous owner(s) did so.
