Fully original Capped Bust Half Dimes in mint state grades are hard to find.  This particular example is an 1832 in an MS63 holder and is the LM-3 die marriage. Many have been dipped, and many of these, dipped many times.  Hence many (and probably most) will not meet the expectations of CAC/CACG.  Is this example amongst the many?  Au contraire, this one ranks among the few and of the highest quality and originality.  The obverse and the reverse have lovely original mint frost with overlying russet-gray-deep steel blue and subtle touches of deep rose toning.  Silky luster when rotating under the light.    Just the way we want them to be.
