The 1824/2 Large Capped Bust Quarter is one of the more difficult to obtain in the series.  It seems to always come pretty beat up or cleaned.  Not this is example, it exhibits smoothly worn surfaces, no detractions to speak of, and grades from dark gray (with a hint of aquamarine under the light) and khaki near the rims to lighter shades of gray towards the center of the obverse and reverse.  A perfect VF coin from exactly 200 years ago.  CAC has only approved 9 in VF, and then from XF to AU, another 11 as of 7/24.  And then, only one in MS at 64.  Simply very hard to fine at this level of quality for the grade.
