This 1823 Capped Bust Half, O-105.2, came out of a long-term collection and was offered up for sale earlier this year.  We were lucky to get 3 from this very carefully put together set.   It is very clear that the collector was meticulous in building the set and only targeted the nicest bust halves. This example is extremely pq for an AU53.  The surfaces are highly lustrous and underlie rich toning in shades of gray and bronze-umber, with original frost in undisturbed areas.   Just the way we like them.
